Bristol Trustee Group launches training sessions

The Bristol Trustee Group is a collaborative initiative, created by the Bristol legal community. Its mission is to educate and empower charitable trustees working in an around Bristol and to encourage more people from within the legal sector to take on the role of charitable trustee.

Please join us for our inaugural session on Monday 21 September at 1-2pm via Zoom:

Being a Trustee: How to use your skills and experience to help community organisations

The session will cover:

  • An overview of community need for trustees

  • The role trustees play in community organisations

  • How to find the right role

The session will feature speakers from local organisations Voscur, Quartet and Moon Consulting as well as from the voluntary sector South West CEO network. There will be plenty of time for questions and general discussion following the presentations.

The session is aimed at anyone who is interested in finding out more about being a trustee, existing trustees interested in hearing from others in the sector and organisations who have trustees themselves.

The Bristol Trustee Group, which is a subset of the Bristol Legal Sector Community Engagement Group and the Bristol Pro Bono Group, would like to thank the Bristol Law Society for hosting the event and in advance thanks the panelists for their contributions.
