Top up your knowledge with LawWorks

If you are a lawyer who volunteers at a legal clinic (or are thinking of signing up!) LawWorks is an invaluable resource. Top up your secondary specialism by signing up to their autumn legal training sessions.

Throughout the year LawWorks delivers a programme of social welfare, family and immigration law training sessions. There are also sessions covering professional and advice skills to equip volunteers with the confidence and competence to provide pro bono legal advice. All sessions are delivered online and free to attend.

You can book onto the training via the LawWorks website. Forthcoming sessions include:

Redundancy during Covid-19 (17th September)

Small claims – housing law casework (24th September)

Consumer law and Covid-19, (8th October)

Welfare Benefits – Covid-19 update (13th October)

Unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and Covid-19 (20th October)

To access podcasts, training materials and presentations from previous training sessions, please visit the volunteer resource section of the LawWorks website.
