The Bristol Trustee Group is a collaborative initiative, created by the Bristol legal community.

Our mission is twofold:

  1. educate and empower charitable trustees and community organisations working in and around Bristol

  2. encourage more people from within the legal sector to take on the role of charitable trustee

This will be achieved by harnessing knowledge on the role and responsibilities of trustees and relevant legal issues and disseminating this information via free seminars.

The Group, which is chaired by Jamie Cameron of law firm Burges Salmon, is formed of representatives of the Bristol Law Society, Bristol Pro Bono Group and Bristol Community Engagement Group and works closely with the voluntary sector (including Voscur, Quartet and the voluntary sector South West CEO network)
